I was watching the Pearl Jam 20 documentary one evening, and some of the street photography in Seattle grabbed me enough that I hopped up off the sofa, grabbed the camera (and the wrong lens) and strolled down to Queen Street to grab a few shots as the sun went down. I didn’t come up with much, but I did meet another photographer who was out doing much the same thing. His current project was “A Portrait A Day”, and his portrait for that day was of me, resting the camera on a hydrant, taking this photo.
