Taken from Camp Muir on Mt Rainier, WA in early Sept 2011. We were there to climb the mountain via the Disappointment Cleaver route. I wouldn’t normally take a big camera but I thought it might be worth the effort on this route, and I was right. Didn’t do any post-processing on this, I thought it was perfect as it was. It reminds me how much light pollution we have in the city, because I’ve never seen the moon like this before.
